Welcome to the Frauenkar hiking route, an extremely difficult out-and-back trail spanning 12.35 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1076 meters. This challenging hike will take approximately 5 hours and 32 minutes to complete, so be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks for the journey.

Starting at the trailhead, you'll find convenient parking just 1.44 kilometers away. From there, the trail ascends steadily through picturesque alpine landscapes. Along the way, you'll encounter several natural water sources where you can refill your water bottles if needed, with the closest one located 15 meters from the trail.

At the 4 kilometer mark, you'll come across the cozy Bachalm restaurant and alpine hut, offering a perfect spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your trek. Further along the trail, you'll find more water sources and informational points to learn about the surrounding area.

As you reach the midpoint of the hike, take a moment to relax on one of the benches strategically placed for hikers to enjoy the stunning views. The trail continues on, eventually leading you to the Frauenkar destination, where you can marvel at the beauty of the natural surroundings before heading back the way you came.
