This hiking route takes you on a 5.661-kilometer circular journey to Monte Triomen, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The route is rated as difficult due to its 500-meter elevation gain and it is estimated to take around 2 hours and 33 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will come across a water source just 0.22 kilometers in, perfect for filling up your water bottle before the ascent. As you continue, you will pass by Rifugio albergo Monte Avaro, an alpine hut located right on the trail at the beginning of the route.
Around 1.33 kilometers in, you will find the wilderness hut named Baitel, where you can take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings. Further along the trail at 2.21 kilometers, you will reach a peak with a viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
At the highest point of the hike, 2.81 kilometers in, you will reach Passo di Triomen, a saddle point with a name signifying the transition to a new section of the trail. Here, you can take in the breathtaking views before starting the descent back towards the starting point.
Throughout the hike, there are various amenities such as cafes, restaurants, and information points to enhance your experience.
