This hiking route takes you through the beautiful terrain surrounding El Pájaro. The 6.9-kilometer trail features an elevation gain of 476 meters and is expected to take around 2 hours and 47 minutes to complete. The difficulty level is considered moderate, so be prepared for a challenging yet rewarding adventure.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking facilities at Cantocochino, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Further along the trail, about 0.31 kilometers from the start, you will find the Punto de Información de Canto Cochino, a tourist information center where you can gather more insights about the area.

Around the halfway point, approximately 2.05 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Refugio Giner de los Ríos, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy some rest. As you continue your journey, you will also find Casa Torrero and Mesón del Montañero, two restaurants where you can refuel and enjoy a meal.

Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike by filling up your water bottle at the Fuente de Pedro Acuña, a natural spring located 2.09 kilometers from the start. Additionally, take in the scenic views of El Pájaro, a peak located 3.32 kilometers from the beginning of the trail.

As you approach the end of the route, take some time to appreciate the natural rock formations such as La Calavera, El Normando, and La Familia. Finally, unwind at the Canto Cochino picnic site, just 0.02 kilometers from the start, before finishing your hike.
