This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin des Escharras in Vallouise-Pelvoux. The trail is an out-and-back type with a total distance of 2.318 kilometers and an elevation gain of 72 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will find a convenient parking area right at the beginning of the trail. It is recommended to leave your car here and start your adventure on foot. Approximately 0.74 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a natural water source where you can replenish your supplies.

Continuing along the trail, at around 1.11 kilometers, you will encounter some impressive rock formations that add to the scenic beauty of the route. Be sure to take some time to admire these natural wonders. Further ahead, at 1.16 kilometers, there are more rock formations to marvel at, although they are slightly off the main trail.

At the turnaround point of the hike, you will reach another rock formation approximately 1.16 kilometers from the start. This marks a good spot to take a breather before heading back.
