Welcome to the Hessenweg hiking route!

The Hessenweg trail is a 2.838-kilometer out-and-back route that offers an easy level of difficulty, making it suitable for hikers of all experience levels. This scenic trail features a total elevation gain of 0.0 meters, allowing for a leisurely stroll through the beautiful surroundings.

As you embark on your journey along the Hessenweg trail, you will come across several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. At the 0.03-kilometer mark, there is another parking area with no fees, making it easy for you to start your adventure.

Midway through the hike, you will encounter an archaeological site at a distance of 0.08 kilometers from the start. Take a moment to explore this historic site and learn about the region's past.

At the 1.25-kilometer mark, you will find a natural water source located just off the trail. This is a great spot to take a break, refill your water bottle, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Further along the trail, at 1.42 kilometers from the start, you will come across another water source that is conveniently located on the trail.
