The Sentier du Littoral hiking route is a moderate 6.35-kilometer circular trail with an elevation gain of 33 meters, taking approximately 1 hour and 33 minutes to complete. This trail offers stunning views of the coastal area and provides hikers with various points of interest along the way.
Starting at the Parking du musée Edgar Clerc, hikers will follow the trail through natural rock formations at the beginning of the hike. Around 1.58 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across an interesting rock formation to admire. As you continue on, at around 1.11 kilometers into the hike, you'll find a natural water source conveniently located along the trail for a quick rest and hydration.
Around the midway point of the trail, at approximately 1.86 kilometers in, hikers will encounter another water source. This provides a great opportunity to refill water bottles and take a break before continuing on. As you approach the 2.98-kilometer mark, you'll have the chance to spot free flying activities in the area, adding an exciting element to your hike.
Towards the end of the hike, at approximately 3.01 kilometers in, there is a designated viewpoint where hikers can pause and take in panoramic views of the surrounding scenery before making their way back to the starting point.
