This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area, with a total distance of 1.179 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.
Starting at the Sportplatz Sauerborn parking area, you can park your vehicle and begin your hike. Just a short distance from the trailhead, you'll come across the Stahlquelle spring where you can refill your water bottle.
As you continue on, at around 0.45 kilometers from the start, you'll find a bench where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings. A little further along, at 0.59 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the Altkönigblick viewpoint with stunning views of the area.
Throughout the hike, you'll also find several benches strategically placed for hikers to rest and take in the scenery. Remember to bring water, wear comfortable shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this relaxing and picturesque out-and-back route to Altkönigblick.
