This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning waterfalls and scenic picnic spots. The trail is 1.031 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 35 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at the Wildi Bistro-Schuppen, you will follow the trail past a parking area before reaching the first waterfall, Wissenbach-Wasserfall III, located 0.34 kilometers from the start. As you continue on, you will come across a BBQ area and a picnic site at 0.52 kilometers. Nearby, you can also find benches for a relaxing break and an information point about the water usage for three turbines.
Further along the trail, at 0.52 kilometers, you will reach another waterfall, Wissenbach-Wasserfall I, and the Wissenbach-Wasserfall II, both offering breathtaking views. There are more picnic sites, benches, and information points scattered along the route for you to enjoy.
It is recommended to bring water, snacks, and to check the weather forecast before embarking on this hike. The trail is an out-and-back type, so you will retrace your steps to return to the starting point at the Wildi Bistro-Schuppen.
