This hiking route takes you through an area rich in history and natural beauty. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 1.142 kilometers and an elevation gain of 72 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across the Escarpenmauer Werk XI, a historic city wall located 0.28 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the path, at 0.49 kilometers from the trailhead, you will find the Kienlesbergbastion (Werk X) and the Contregarde am Kienlesberg (Werk IX), both interesting attractions with historical significance.

Halfway through the hike, at 0.56 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the Wilhelmsburg (Werk XII), a castle with limited wheelchair access, and the ehem. Löschwasserbecken der BW, a former firefighting water basin.

Towards the end of the trail, at 0.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach the König-Wilhelm-Turm, a viewpoint offering spectacular views of the surrounding area. Additionally, there are several benches and picnic sites along the trail where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
