Starting at Piazza del Municipio, you will first encounter a series of historic wayside shrines along the trail, each with its own unique charm and cultural significance. These shrines are located at varying distances from the start of the trail, offering a glimpse into the region's rich heritage.

As you continue on, you will pass by the picturesque Sella Clinach, a natural saddle offering a serene and captivating viewpoint. This spot is perfect for a brief rest and to take in the surrounding beauty before trekking onwards towards the peak of Monte Cucco.

At the summit of Monte Cucco, standing tall at 11.55 kilometers from the start, you will be rewarded with awe-inspiring panoramic views of the region. The journey to reach this point is challenging but the breathtaking scenery makes it all worth it.

Along the trail, you will also come across various facilities such as benches for resting, a memorial dedicated to Oberfeuerwerker Ignaz Rauch, as well as restaurants like Casa Oberrichter and Aquila Nera where you can refuel and refresh.
