Welcome to the hiking route to Monte Spicchio! This route is a 7.1-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 266 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 18 minutes to complete.

The hike starts at Parcheggio Funivia, where you can park your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. As you begin your journey, you will pass by Rifugio di Grotticiole, a wilderness hut just 0.03 kilometers from the trailhead. This could be a great spot to rest and take in the surrounding wilderness.

Along the way, at 0.89 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source, perfect for refilling your water bottles and staying hydrated during the hike. Further ahead, at 2.56 kilometers from the start, you will reach a saddle, providing a picturesque vantage point to admire the scenery.

At 2.8 kilometers from the start, you'll find Poggio Traforato, a peak worth exploring if you want to add an extra challenge to your hike. Keep going, and at 3.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach the main attraction, Monte Spicchio, another peak with stunning views waiting for you at the top.

As you make your way back, take advantage of the bench at 0 kilometers from the start for a quick break before continuing on your journey.
