This extremely difficult 14.879-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the stunning Fründenhütte destination. The trail starts at a parking area and takes you through a challenging terrain with an elevation gain of 1299 meters.

As you begin your journey, you will pass by the Berghaus Oeschinensee restaurant, about 2.86 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a bite to eat before continuing on. Further along the trail, at the 7.44-kilometer mark, you will reach the Fründenhütte alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the magnificent views.

Throughout the hike, you will come across various points of interest such as viewpoints, picnic sites, and information points providing insights into the area's natural beauty. Make sure to stay hydrated and pack enough water for the long and challenging hike. It is also advisable to check the weather forecast before embarking on this journey.
