This hiking route at Huhngraben offers a super easy and leisurely hike through the beautiful surroundings. The 1.008-kilometer trail starts at Alleerasen parking area and takes you on a circular route, passing by various points of interest.
At the beginning of the trail, you will find the city walls, a historic site located just 0.29 kilometers from the start. As you continue, you will come across Holzstad parking area (0.04 km) and several water features including streams and ponds along the way.
Midway through the hike, at around 0.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach a nice spot for a break with benches and a cafe called Ahle Schinn. This is a perfect place to relax and enjoy some refreshments before continuing your journey.
As you make your way back, you will pass by more benches and eateries like McDöner and Hugos Pizza Express, offering a chance to grab a quick bite or simply rest your legs.
