This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning views and challenging terrain. With a total distance of 14.111 kilometers and an elevation gain of 651 meters, this hike is rated as extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
Starting at the trailhead, you will find parking facilities right at the beginning of the route. Make sure to pack plenty of water and snacks as this hike will take nearly 5 hours to complete.
As you venture further along the trail, you will come across the Refugio de Santa Isabel, a wilderness hut located 6.44 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
About 7.06 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Abrevadero, a water source where you can refill your water bottles and take a rest. It's important to stay hydrated, especially on a challenging hike like this one.
Near the end of the trail, at just 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will find a restaurant where you can sit down and refuel after your adventure.
