This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Lækjargata. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 1.493 kilometers and no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.

As you start your hike, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area, followed by a water source located 0.45 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail at 0.55 kilometers, there is another water source for you to replenish your supply.

As you continue on, you will pass by additional parking areas at various points along the trail. Make sure to stay hydrated, especially in the warmer months, and it's always a good idea to check the weather forecast before heading out.

At the midway point of the hike, you will find a Pizza Hut restaurant, where you can take a break and grab a bite to eat. Additionally, there are information points scattered along the trail, providing you with insights into the area's history and natural surroundings.
