Welcome to the hiking route to La Trona! This route is a 5.759-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 280 meters, taking approximately 2 hours to complete. The difficulty level is moderate, so be prepared for some challenging terrain.
Starting at the trailhead, you'll find a parking area nearby to leave your vehicle. As you begin your journey, you'll come across the Punt d'Informació de Rellinars, a tourist information spot about 0.61 kilometers into the hike. Further along the trail at around 0.16 kilometers, you'll encounter a water source at Font del Ginjoler, perfect for a quick refuel.
Continue along the path, and at approximately 0.41 kilometers, you'll reach another water source. As you trek onward, various information points like SL-C 55 and SL-C 57 will provide insights into the surroundings and the trail itself. Keep an eye out for Balma de l'Andaló, a cave entrance located at 0.97 kilometers from the start.
Around the 1-kilometer mark, you'll find SL-C 55 GR 5, offering more information about the area. As you progress, Els 3 Monts information spot at 0.29 kilometers will provide interesting facts about the region. Additionally, at 0.63 kilometers, you'll come across SL-C 55 GR 5 and SL-C 55 SL-C57 GR 5, enriching your hiking experience.
As you approach the endpoint, admire the historical wayside crosses at 0.33 kilometers and immerse yourself in the breathtaking views at La Trona viewpoint located at 2.88 kilometers. Lastly, don't miss the Cova del Pòrtic cave entrance at 2.71 kilometers, adding a touch of mystery to your adventure.
