This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area around Punta del Campanile. The trail is 10.202 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1048 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take around 4 hours and 58 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will pass by the parking area at the trailhead, which is located right at the beginning of the trail. About 4.99 kilometers into the hike, you will come across Lago del Cortese, a picturesque lake located off the trail. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the serene surroundings.
Continuing on, at around 4.68 kilometers into the hike, you will find another water feature that is right on the trail, providing a refreshing stop for hikers. Further along the trail, at 4.63 kilometers, there is another water source off the trail for you to enjoy.
As you make your way towards the destination, you will come across Bocchetta dei Fornei, a saddle located at 4.53 kilometers from the start. This point offers stunning views and is a great place to rest and take in the scenery.
Nearby, at 4.52 kilometers into the hike, you will find Punta Scalaccia, a peak that is just off the trail. This offers a challenging side trail for those looking for an additional adventure.
Just a bit further along, at 5.1 kilometers, you will reach Punta del Campanile, the final destination of the hike. This peak offers breathtaking panoramic views and is a great reward for your efforts.
