Italy Friuli – Venezia Giulia Pordenone

This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Col Major in a beautiful area. The total distance of the route is 11.206 kilometers with an elevation gain of 582 meters, so be prepared for a workout.

As you start your hike, you'll pass by Piazza Plan dal Vecju, a parking area located right on the trail. Further along, you'll come across Piazza Sei Maggio 1976, another parking spot just 0.03 kilometers from the start.

About midway through the hike, at 5.6 kilometers from the start, you'll find Bivacco col Maior, a wilderness hut and shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

As you continue on, you'll encounter a fountain located 0.03 kilometers from the start, a great spot to refill your water bottle. Further along, at 5.6 kilometers from the start, you'll reach Col Major, a peak with incredible views.

Don't forget to stop by the viewpoint at 5.47 kilometers from the start for even more breathtaking scenery. And at 5.45 kilometers from the start, there's a shelter where you can take a break before heading back.
