This hiking route to Punta Sajunchè is located in a beautiful natural area with breathtaking views. The trail is 7.355 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1284 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
You will start your journey at the parking area, which is conveniently located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way up, you will pass by the Birrificio Z'am Steg, a pub where you can stop for a refreshing drink or a meal before or after your hike.
Along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. Approximately 2.55 kilometers from the start, you will reach Punta Massarei, a peak with panoramic views of the surrounding area. Further along, at about 3.03 kilometers from the start, you will encounter Sella Alta del Sajunchè, a saddle point offering a unique perspective of the landscape.
Continue onwards to reach Punta Sajunchè, the final destination of your hike. This peak, situated approximately 3.68 kilometers from the start, rewards hikers with stunning views from the summit.
For your convenience, there is a shelter, Punto di Appoggio della Sella Alta al Sajounché, about 3.12 kilometers from the start, where you can rest and refuel before making your way back.
