The Akkerhof hiking route is a super easy out-and-back trail that spans approximately 0.733 kilometers with no elevation gain. The trail is located in a picturesque area, surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes.

As you start your hike at the beginning of the trail, you will come across a convenient parking area. It's a great spot to leave your vehicle before embarking on the trek. Further along the trail, at around 0.15 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a moment to rest and enjoy the scenery.

Around 0.37 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a water feature, perfect for refilling your water bottle or simply taking in the serene ambiance. There is also another bench nearby for hikers to relax and take a break.

At the midway point of the trail, there is an information point known as Wandelgebied Gelinden where you can learn more about the surroundings and the trail itself. Additionally, there is another bench close by for hikers to sit and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, about 0.09 kilometers from the beginning, you will find 'n Koud Kunstje, an ice cream shop where you can treat yourself to a delicious frozen delight.

This leisurely hike is suitable for hikers of all levels and offers plenty of amenities along the way. Remember to bring an ample water supply, wear appropriate footwear, and check the weather forecast before setting out on this enjoyable outdoor adventure.
