This extremely difficult hiking route will take you on a challenging 10.914-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 1203 meters to the Sommet de la Coume de Bourg.

The trail begins at Granges d‘Astau, where you can find parking facilities at the start of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by a beautiful viewpoint known as Col de la Coumme, located approximately 4.71 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in the stunning scenery and catch your breath before continuing on your adventure.

About 0.02 kilometers from the start, you'll come across Auberge d‘Astau, a cozy cafe where you can grab a bite to eat and refuel for the journey ahead. Further along the trail, at around 1.74 kilometers from the start, you'll find Medassole Inf., a shelter where you can take a rest and enjoy the surroundings.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the summit of Sommet de la Coume de Bourg, located approximately 5.46 kilometers from the start. From here, you can take in panoramic views of the surrounding area and feel a sense of accomplishment for completing this challenging trek.

As this is an extremely difficult hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
