This hiking route takes you through the stunning alpine scenery of the Rifugio Barba Ferrero area. With a distance of 8.196 kilometers and an elevation gain of 787 meters, this route is considered difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
Starting at the parking area, you will first pass by the Centro Visita Giardino Botanico, a botanical garden visitor center located 0.47 kilometers from the start of the trail. Further along the trail, at 0.26 kilometers, you will come across the Rifugio Pastore alpine hut, where you can take a break and enjoy the mountain views.
As you continue on the trail, you will encounter the Cascata dell'Acqua Bianca waterfall at the beginning of the hike, as well as the Cascata dell'acqua bianca viewpoint at 0.0 kilometers. These natural attractions provide a refreshing stop along the way.
Midway through the hike, at 3.99 kilometers, you will reach the Rifugio Barba Ferrero alpine hut, a perfect spot to rest and refuel before continuing on. Nearby, you can also visit the Cascata della Flua waterfall, located 2.95 kilometers from the start.
