This extremely difficult 15.444-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will lead you to the breathtaking Kreuzjoch - Monte della Croce peak. The trail starts at a parking area conveniently located at the beginning of the route. Make sure to bring plenty of water and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging journey.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across a picturesque fountain about midway through the hike, perfect for a quick rest and refill. Further along, you will pass by a lovely restaurant called Zur Brücke, offering a tempting opportunity for a delicious meal or snack.

The route will take you through stunning natural landscapes, with opportunities to admire the surrounding beauty and perhaps even spot some wildlife. Keep in mind that the trail passes by a wayside cross, adding a touch of historic charm to your adventure.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the Kreuzjoch - Monte della Croce peak, standing at an elevation of 7.72 kilometers from the start point. From this vantage point, you can enjoy panoramic views of the area and revel in the sense of accomplishment of conquering this challenging trail.
