This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Re area, offering breathtaking views and unique points of interest along the way. The trail spans a distance of 9.132 kilometers with an elevation gain of 972 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding adventure.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Monte Re peak, standing majestically at 4.57 kilometers from the trailhead. Continuing on, you will encounter the Miniera attraction at 0.34 kilometers, where you can learn about the area's mining history. Further along the trail at 3.31 kilometers, you will find the Glück auf wayside cross as well as the Piccolo Monte Re peak.
At the midway point of the hike, located at 0.49 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Monumento al minatore memorial and have the opportunity to replenish your water supply at the drinking water station. Additionally, there are dining options available at Bar One for a quick snack before continuing your journey.
