This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of SS54, offering a challenging but rewarding experience. The trail is 8.528 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 939.0 meters, making it a difficult hike that will test your endurance.

As you start your journey, you will come across a convenient parking area at the beginning of the trail. About 0.34 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the Miniera, an interesting attraction that is worth exploring. Further along the trail, at 3.31 kilometers, you will find the Glück auf wayside cross and the Piccolo Monte Re peak, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings.

At the 4.26 kilometer mark, you will reach another peak, offering even more stunning panoramic views. Along the way, you will also come across the Monumento al minatore, a historic memorial that adds to the cultural richness of the hike.

It's important to note that there are drinking water stations available at 0.49 kilometers into the hike, so make sure to stay hydrated throughout your journey. Additionally, there is a bar named Bar One at the same location, where you can take a break and refuel before continuing on the trail.

As this is an out-and-back route, you will retrace your steps on the way back, giving you a chance to appreciate the scenery from a different perspective. Before embarking on this hike, be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast to ensure a safe and enjoyable outdoor adventure.
