This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with a total distance of 6.605 kilometers and an elevation gain of 581 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding trek. The estimated duration for this hike is approximately 2 hours and 58 minutes, so be sure to plan accordingly.
As you begin your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the start of the trail. About 0.34 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Miniera, an interesting attraction worth exploring. Continuing onwards, at around 0.49 kilometers, you will encounter the Monumento al minatore, a historic memorial, and a couple of drinking water spots for you to replenish your supply.
Midway through the hike, at 3.3 kilometers, you will reach the Glück auf wayside cross and the Piccolo Monte Re peak, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. These landmarks make for great photo opportunities and a chance to catch your breath before continuing on.
