This hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Cim del Borrut. With a total distance of approximately 16.932 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1447 meters, this trail is considered extremely difficult and is recommended for experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across the historic Castell de Queralbs, located right at the beginning of the trail. You can also find the Plaça del Raig nearby for some parking. Further along the route, around 3.8 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the beautiful Font dels Pastors spring. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the natural surroundings.
Continuing onwards, at around 5.31 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Collada de Fontalba saddle. This marks a midway point where you can take in breathtaking views of the area. As you approach the summit, at 7.06 kilometers, you will find the Cim de la Dou peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
It is important to note that there are various amenities along the trail, such as cafes like Bar Xix for sustenance and drinking water sources like Font del Raig. Additionally, there are information points scattered throughout the route to provide you with valuable insights into the area.
