This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area around Sommet de Cousson. The trail is 9.848 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 847 meters, making it a difficult hike that will challenge both your endurance and strength.
Starting from the trailhead, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking areas such as Place de la Petite Etuve and Place de la Grande Etuve. As you continue on, you will come across Chapelle Saint-Jean-Baptiste, a historic cave entrance that is worth exploring.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter Hautes Baties de Cousson, an interesting information point where you can learn more about the area's history and geography. Additionally, there are viewpoints like the one at 4.67 kilometers that offer stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Towards the end of the trail, you will reach the highlight of the hike, Sommet de Cousson, the peak of the mountain where you can enjoy a well-deserved rest and take in the breathtaking views from the top.
