This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning Sommet de Cousson in a beautiful natural area. The trail starts at a parking area and passes by several points of interest along the way.
At the beginning of the hike, you will come across the Chapelle Saint-Jean-Baptiste, a historic cave entrance nestled in the natural surroundings. As you continue, you will find a fountain where you can refill your water bottles and stay hydrated on your journey.
Midway through the hike, you will encounter the Hautes Baties de Cousson viewpoint, offering picturesque views of the surrounding landscape. Along the trail, there are also informative signs providing insights into the area's history and significance.
As you near the summit, make sure to visit the Chapelle Saint Jean, a quaint wayside shrine that adds to the charm of the hike. Finally, reaching the summit at Sommet de Cousson, you will be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views as far as the eye can see.
