This hiking route is located in Lafayette Heights and offers a super easy hiking experience with a total distance of 1.278 kilometers and an elevation gain of 37 meters. The route is circular, allowing you to start and end at the same point.

As you begin your hike, you will come across various points of interest. At the start of the trail, you will find parking facilities nearby. Further along the trail, about 0.08 kilometers in, you will encounter the restaurant Octavia, where you can grab a bite to eat. Continuing on, you will pass by the Tobin House at 0.28 kilometers in, a notable attraction in the area. Along the way, you will also come across the Mary Ellen Pleasant memorial at 0.04 kilometers in.

Midway through your hike at around 0.48 kilometers, you will find a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Additionally, at 0.53 kilometers, there is a viewpoint known as Lafayette Heights where you can marvel at the scenic views. Towards the end of the trail, you will also pass by the Lafayette Heights peak, offering panoramic views of the area.
