The trail is 5.3 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 107 meters, making it a moderately difficult hike. It will take you approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the out-and-back route.

Starting at the parking area, you'll begin your journey towards Villa Jovis, an archaeological site located 2.65 kilometers from the start of the trail. Along the way, you'll pass by biergartens, restaurants like Pulalli and Capri's Ristorante, and cafes such as Caffè Manari and Bar Il Giardino. There are also several viewpoints, benches, and drinking water fountains conveniently placed along the trail.

At the midway point, you'll reach Villa Lysis/Fersen, another historical attraction 2.43 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and enjoy the scenery before heading back. Don't forget to check out the information boards along the trail to learn more about the area.
