This extremely difficult 16.062-kilometer circular hiking route in the Ochsenberg-Alm area offers a challenging yet rewarding experience for avid hikers. The trail boasts a total elevation gain of 1052 meters and a duration of approximately 6 hours and 20 minutes.

The hike begins at the Posthotel parking area, where you can easily access the trailhead. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across Hotel Pension Edelweiß and Huamat, perfect spots to fuel up before continuing your journey. Be sure to check out the Postbar and Pfundser Ugi's Imbiss for a quick snack or refreshment along the way.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach the Ochsenberg-Alm, a picturesque alpine hut where you can take a break and admire the stunning views of the surroundings. Don't forget to refill your water bottle at one of the drinking water stations located nearby.

As you trek back towards the starting point, consider stopping by Va Bene or Gasthof Traube for a delicious meal to replenish your energy. Before concluding your adventure, take a moment to appreciate the Anna-Maria Achenrainer memorial site, located near the trail.
