Midway through the trail, at a distance of 0.21 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Sonnabendskopf peak, although not directly on the trail, it's worth the short detour for more panoramic views of the surrounding area. Nearby, at the same distance from the start, you'll also encounter the Waldenserstein memorial, adding a touch of history to your hike.
