This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with easy terrain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The trail is an out-and-back type, leading you to the destination point of Terril du Pétria n°1.

As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area right at the beginning of the trail. Remember to park here before you begin your hike. About 0.66 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source that is located conveniently along the trail. This spot is ideal for refilling your water bottle.

Continuing on, at around 1.15 kilometers from the start, there is another water source available on the trail. Make sure to take advantage of these stops to stay hydrated throughout your hike.

As you make your way towards the destination, at about 0.97 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Terril Calvaire 2, a peak that offers stunning views of the surrounding area. You can take a moment to appreciate the beauty of the landscape before continuing on your hike.

Finally, at the end of the trail, around 1.83 kilometers from the start, you will reach the main attraction of the hike - Terril du Pétria n°1. This peak offers a rewarding sight and a perfect spot to rest before you head back on the same trail.

With a distance of 3.658 kilometers and no significant elevation gain, this hike is considered easy and is perfect for a leisurely outing.
