Hiking : Mont Alhérac

This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Mont Alhérac. The trail is approximately 5.5 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 277 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area. Further along, at about 0.03 kilometers from the start, there is a fountain where you can take a break and rehydrate. As you continue hiking, you will pass by the Monument aux Morts, a memorial located 0.08 kilometers from the start.

Midway through the hike, around 0.16 kilometers from the start, you will see the Château de Fournels, a historic castle and tourist attraction. If you need to refuel, there is a pub called La table fournelaise located 0.05 kilometers from the trail.

Towards the end of the trail, approximately 2.73 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Mont Alhérac, offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area.
