This hiking route near Cortiuda is an extremely difficult 12.2-kilometer out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 487 meters. The estimated duration for this challenging hike is around 4 hours. Before embarking on this adventure, make sure to check the weather forecast and bring plenty of water.
The trail starts at a parking area about 0.07 kilometers from the beginning. As you begin your hike, you'll come across a natural spring called Font Viva, located approximately 1.09 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail, at around 1.64 kilometers from the start, there is a viewpoint known as Roca del Corb, offering a stunning panoramic view.
Continuing on, at approximately 2.08 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak of la Roca Llarga, providing a great spot to rest and admire the surrounding landscape. As you approach the halfway point, about 3.51 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the peak of Tossal de Torrent.
Further along the trail, around 6.1 kilometers from the start, you'll find the Cortiuda alpine hut, where you can take a break and maybe even spend the night if needed. As you make your way back, be sure to visit the Coll de Mur saddle, located about 2.38 kilometers from the start, and the cave entrance known as la Catedral, approximately 1.9 kilometers from the start.
