Hiking : L'Epion

This challenging hiking route will take you on a 9.229-kilometer journey with an elevation gain of 523 meters, lasting approximately 3 hours and 26 minutes. The trail starts at L'Epion and follows an out-and-back route.

As you begin your hike, you will come across Les Nivéoles, an information point located 0.14 kilometers from the start. Further along the trail at 1.46 kilometers, you will reach another informative spot called Le Penon.

At the 2.88-kilometer mark, you'll find the Ferme du Morbier, a café where you can grab a refreshment and take a break. Continuing on, after 3.41 kilometers, you will reach the Col de la Sciaz, a saddle offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.

As you approach the peak at 4.61 kilometers, you'll reach L'Epion, a notable peak along the trail. Additionally, there are other points of interest such as Col de la Sciaz and Sous le Col de la Sciaz which provide more information about the area.
