This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with stunning landscapes and challenging terrain. Starting at the parking area near the trailhead, you will begin your journey towards Refuge des Camporells. The trail is 12.007 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 764.0 meters, making it extremely difficult but rewarding for experienced hikers.
Along the way, you will pass by various points of interest. At the beginning of the hike, you will come across Restaurant de la Calmazeille, offering a convenient spot to grab a bite to eat before continuing your adventure. As you hike further, you will encounter a wayside shrine and information points providing insights into the local area.
Midway through the hike, you will reach Estany del Mig, a picturesque lake surrounded by nature. This tranquil spot is perfect for a rest break and taking in the serene atmosphere. Continuing onwards, you will pass by Serra de Mauri peak, offering panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Towards the end of the hike, you will reach La Collada, a saddle point that marks a significant landmark along the trail. Finally, you will arrive at Refuge des Camporells, where you can rest and refuel before retracing your steps back to the starting point.
