At 3.78 kilometers into the hike, you will find the Naturfreundehaus alpine hut, a perfect spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your journey. For those interested in climbing, the Klettergarten Schwarzeck is located 3.38 kilometers from the start, offering a thrilling adventure for climbers.

The highlight of the hike is reaching the Schober peak at 4.14 kilometers from the trailhead. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, making all the effort worth it.
