This challenging hiking route will take you on an out-and-back journey along Camino La Data in a beautiful natural setting. With a total distance of 10.017 kilometers and an elevation gain of 502 meters, this hike is sure to test your endurance and provide stunning views along the way.
As you start your hike, you will come across the Balneario de Azuaje, a historic ruins site just 0.02 kilometers from the trail. Further along at 0.32 kilometers, you will encounter a natural water feature, offering a peaceful spot to rest and take in the surroundings.
Throughout the hike, you will pass by several other water sources, some closer to the trail than others. These spots can be great for refilling your water supply, especially during the warmer months.
At around 2.59 kilometers into the hike, you will reach a viewpoint where you can pause and admire the panoramic vistas. As you continue on, you may also come across a picnic site and information points providing insights into the surrounding area.
Midway through the hike, at approximately 5.01 kilometers, you will find a waterfall known as Cascada. This refreshing sight can be a perfect place to take a break and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
For those looking for a more adventurous experience, consider exploring the Cuevas de Doramas, a cave entrance located 3.06 kilometers from the start of the trail. The views from Vistas de las Cuevas de Doramas at 3.28 kilometers are also not to be missed.
