This challenging hiking route starts at Camino El Palo and takes you through a scenic area with historical ruins and natural water features. With a total distance of 7.001 kilometers and an elevation gain of 195 meters, this trail offers a moderate level of difficulty.
At the beginning of the trail, you will come across the historic ruins of Balneario de Azuaje, providing a glimpse into the area's past. As you continue on, you will pass by several natural water sources, including cascades and waterfalls, offering refreshing spots to rest and take in the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you will find picnic sites and viewpoints where you can stop to have a snack and enjoy the scenic views of the surroundings. Make sure to bring enough water and snacks as some water sources may not be suitable for drinking.
Towards the end of the trail, you will encounter informative signs and viewpoints that offer insights into the local history and geography. The trail ends back at Camino El Palo, completing the out-and-back route.
