This hiking route to Pic du Midi de Siguer is located in a beautiful natural area with stunning views. The route is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 19.648 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1061 meters, making it extremely difficult and suitable for experienced hikers.

Starting the hike, you will find a parking area at the trailhead to leave your vehicle. It is located right at the beginning of the trail, making it convenient for hikers. Along the way, there is a wilderness hut around 7.77 kilometers from the start where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

As you continue on the trail, you will come across the Cabane du Cap Long, a non-guarded wilderness hut located 6.51 kilometers from the start. It is a bit off the trail but worth the detour for a unique experience. Further ahead, at 9.12 kilometers from the start, you will find the Cabane de Pinardel - Vicdessos, another shelter providing a resting spot for hikers.

Midway through the hike, around 8.18 kilometers from the start, the Cabanes de la Jasse de Peyriguels in Ax les Thermes offer another accommodation option for hikers. Additionally, there is a viewpoint at 0.1 kilometers from the start called Belvédère de Guestier where you can take in panoramic views of the area.

Towards the end of the trail, at 9.82 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Pic du Midi de Siguer, a peak with breathtaking views. The trail culminates at this point before returning back the same way.

As this is an extremely difficult hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear.
