This hiking route takes you to the stunning Vertinesbleiskopf peak, located in a beautiful alpine setting. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 10.262 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1127 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 5 hours and 11 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across the Friedrichshafener Hütte, an alpine hut where you can rest and enjoy the panoramic views. This hut is located 2.61 kilometers from the start of the trail. Just a short distance away, at 2.21 kilometers from the start, you will find a bench where you can take a break and admire the surrounding nature.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Vertinesbleiskopf peak, located 5.13 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Further along the trail, at 4.7 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Schafbichljoch saddle, where you can stop and take in the scenic beauty of the area.
