This extremely difficult 12.539-kilometer circular hiking route in the Punta Negra area offers breathtaking views and challenging terrain.
Starting at Playa Bahía López beach, you'll immediately be immersed in the natural beauty of the area. As you make your way along the trail, you'll pass by Mirador Bahía López and Mirador Brazo Tristeza, where you can pause to take in stunning viewpoints of the surroundings.
Midway through the hike, you'll reach Cerro López, a peak that offers panoramic views of the landscape. Make sure to stop by Mirador Cerro Tronador for another picturesque viewpoint experience.
As you continue on, you'll come across Pico Turista and Punta Negra, both offering unique perspectives of the area. Keep an eye out for Pico Turista, as it's located right on the trail.
Throughout the hike, you'll encounter various viewpoints and natural landmarks that will leave you in awe of the beauty of Punta Negra. Be prepared for a challenging trek, as the route includes 1336 meters of elevation gain.
