This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Chemin des Sarrasins. The trail is an out-and-back type, covering a distance of 2.399 kilometers with an elevation gain of 110 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area at Col du Donon, just 3.32 meters away from the trail. This is a great spot to leave your vehicle before heading out on the hike. Along the way, at the 0.5 kilometers mark, you will find a picturesque picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy some snacks while surrounded by nature.
Further along the trail, about 1.19 kilometers from the start, you will find a shelter called Abri sous le bâtiment, a perfect resting spot to catch your breath and take in the scenic views. Nearby, there are also two viewpoints where you can stop and admire the beauty of the area.
Additionally, along the trail, there are several benches for you to rest and information points to learn more about the surroundings. Keep an eye out for Le Velleda restaurant which is located 190.79 meters from the trail, a great option for a post-hike meal.
