This challenging hiking route will take you to Colle nord Monte Lavagnola, offering stunning views along the way. The total distance of the trail is 8.507 kilometers with an elevation gain of 294 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike.
Starting at Piazza Erasmo Piaggio, you will pass by several points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a fountain at a distance of 0.12 kilometers from the start, where you can refill your water bottle. As you continue on, you will come across the memorial Monumento ai caduti and a drinking water point closer to the peak of Monte Lavagnola.
Midway through the hike, you will reach La Bella di Torriglia, an artwork located 0.12 kilometers from the start. This is a great spot to take a break and admire the unique piece of art.
Towards the end of the trail, at a distance of 4.25 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Monte Lavagnola itself. Here, you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area before heading back the way you came.
