This extremely difficult circular hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Bocciarda area. With a total distance of 23.536 kilometers and an elevation gain of 1434 meters, this challenging hike is not for the faint-hearted. The estimated duration for this hike is around 9 hours.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the trail. At the beginning of the hike, you will find a parking area just 2.14 kilometers from the starting point. Further along the trail, at the 1.15 kilometer mark, there is another parking area for your convenience.
During your hike, you will also encounter places to refuel and rest. Around 0.11 kilometers into the hike, you will find a restaurant called Cacciatori where you can grab a bite to eat. Additionally, at the 1.42 kilometer mark, there is a cafe called L'Iclò where you can take a break and enjoy a hot beverage.
For those in need of hydration, a drinking water point is situated at the 0.11 kilometer mark, providing a refreshing stop along the way. Keep an eye out for the alpine hut, Rifugio Alpini, located at the 10.65 kilometer mark, offering a cozy place to stay or enjoy a warm meal.
One of the highlights of this hike is reaching the peak of Monte Bocciarda at the 11.46 kilometer mark, where you can take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding area. As you make your way back, at the 3.75 kilometer mark, you will find the Agriturismo Bacchedilo restaurant for a well-deserved meal.
