This hiking route takes you through a beautiful area with various points of interest along the way. The trail is super easy, with a distance of approximately 1.049 kilometers and no elevation gain.
You will start your hike at the parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before heading onto the trail. Along the way, you will come across several water features, including ponds and fountains, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere.
As you continue on the trail, you will pass by the Tierpark Alsdorfer Weiher, a zoo where you can see various animals such as monkeys, deer, meerkats, donkeys, and more. The zoo is wheelchair accessible and has no entrance fee, making it a great stop for the whole family.
Further along the trail, you will find picnic sites and benches where you can take a break and enjoy some food or simply relax amidst the natural surroundings. There are also shelters and information points providing interesting facts about the area.
Near the end of the trail, you will reach the Ententeich (duck pond), a lovely spot to observe waterfowl and enjoy the tranquil ambiance. This marks a perfect turnaround point before you head back on the same trail to the starting point.
