Located in a stunning natural area, this hike offers a 2.5-kilometer out-and-back trail with a total elevation gain of 38 meters, making it an easy and enjoyable trek suitable for all skill levels.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by a convenient parking area, located right at the start of the trail. Make sure to park your vehicle securely before starting your hike.
About 1.25 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the iconic peak known as Morro do Osso, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Take your time to soak in the beauty of the natural scenery and capture some memorable photos.
Just a bit further along the trail, at around 1.13 kilometers from the starting point, you will encounter the impressive rock formation called Pedra do Pé de Deus. Marvel at its unique shape and learn about the geological significance of this attraction.
For those interested in exploring further, about 1.25 kilometers from the trail, you can find the entrance to Toca do Sapateiro, a cave worth exploring. However, keep in mind that this spot is slightly off the main trail.
Don't forget to stay hydrated throughout your hike. You'll find a drinking water station conveniently located at the beginning of the trail, allowing you to refill your water bottle before setting off.
