This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the beautiful Lago di Ponte area. The trail spans 9.5 kilometers and features an elevation gain of 533 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 3 hours and 31 minutes to complete.

As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area with no fees. About 3.73 kilometers into the hike, there is another parking spot available for your convenience.

Midway through your adventure, you will encounter a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning surroundings. As you continue forward, you will also come across drinking water stations to refill your water bottles.

At around the 4.75-kilometer mark, there is a lovely picnic site overlooking the lake where you can rest and appreciate the serene setting. Additionally, a shelter is located nearby for those seeking a place to relax and take in the views.

Towards the end of the trail, approximately 4.68 kilometers in, you will find a wilderness hut known as Rifugio Casa Ponte, providing accommodation options for hikers looking to extend their stay in the area.

Throughout the hike, there are informative signs and wayside shrines that offer insights into the history and culture of the region. These points of interest add depth to your outdoor experience and allow you to connect with the surroundings on a deeper level.
