This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of Kanstein, offering stunning views and a variety of points of interest along the way. The route is an out-and-back trail with a total distance of 3.547 kilometers and an elevation gain of 109 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting your journey, you will pass by the Buschmühle parking area, which is located right at the beginning of the trail. As you continue, you will come across the Buschmühlenturm peak, offering a great spot for climbing enthusiasts. Further along the trail, you will encounter the Dunkle Wand peak, Kanstein peak, Kansteinnadel peak, Keil peak, Rätselturm peak, Regenstein peak, Großer Teichstein peak, Taubenkropf peak, and the E-Flügel-Wand peak, all providing beautiful natural landmarks to admire.
Halfway through your hike, you will reach a shelter known as Kansteinboofe, where you can take a rest and enjoy the surrounding nature. Additionally, you will find several information points along the trail, such as the Flügel E / Abzweig Hohlfelds Graben (Buschmühle) and Haltestelle Buschmühle, providing interesting insights into the area's history and geography.
As you approach the endpoint of the trail, the Kanstein-Vorgipfel peak offers a final highlight before you head back.
